“the Human Image” a photography exhibition at Delphi
The European Cultural Center of Delphi is inaugurating the photographic exhibition «the Human Image» on Saturday 27th of October 2018.
“the Human Image” is comprised of 190 total photographs made by 68 photographers (amateurs and professionals). It follows the last May (18-21/05/2018) seminar of photography presided by photographer and writer Plato Rivellis.
“… Delphi, as photography, is ruins and traces. The sanctity surpasses religion and expands in whatever can beat time exactly as is the case of art. It was inevitable that our next quest would focus on the human being. A human being not related with the familiar position within the flow of life and time, as has been the case for many years in the so called “street photography” and even more in the case of the far more important “souvenir photography”, but a human being whose image has exceeded time as a “sacred trace”.
